Frozen waterfalls, glittering ice, and pure adventure –our Intro to Ice Climbing day lets you experience the magic of ice climbing safely and with plenty of fun.

Together with our certified mountain guides, you’ll learn the essential techniques –how to use crampons and ice tools correctly, move efficiently on ice,and climb safely on a top-rope.

This course is designed specifically for beginners – no previous experience required.

• Introduction to equipment & ice climbing gear

• Basic climbing and movement techniques on ice

• Training with crampons & ice axes

• Safe top-rope climbing practice

• Small groups & personal instruction

• Locations: Gastein, Rauris or Saalbach (depending on conditions)
