The Open Ski Tour Day is aimed at anyone who already has experience in ski touring or freeriding
and would like to discover new routes around Saalbach-Hinterglemm together with a state-certified mountain guide.
Away from the slopes, you can expect varied ascents, secluded peaks and fantastic descents in untracked terrain.
The focus is on safety, technique and experience – not as a course, but as a guided tour among like-minded people.

Yes- you should ski solid on Black piste and did some Skitours.
What equipment do I need?
Touring skis with skins, poles, ski boots, and avalanche gear.Rental equipment is available in Saalbach at Sport Hagleitner, Sport Gumpold, or Sport Bründl.
How long does the tour take?
Usually 4–6 hours including ascent, break, and descent.
When is the best time?
From December to April, with the best conditions from January to March.
